I have a GIRO FIXTURE MIPS adult size helmet. That I have owned for about a year I am going to tell you my experience and specs about this helmet. So you can get an idea on comfort, durability, price and whether it might be the right choice for you.

I was looking for a different helmet with a different color. I got on the Internet and started browsing and I came up on the giro. I looked at a lot of other helmets but I like the looks and the price. So I ordered it and I was very pleased with the looks and fit.
I really liked the rear coverage of this helmet. It provides good protection and when you are on the trails you need that extra protection for the back of your head.
The matte finish I really liked the finish is smooth and the matte finish is supposed to be more scratch resistant. I wear a large helmet the universal fit is nice it fits heads 54-61 cms. The roc loc sport fit system has 57 size click adjustments.
I know it fits my head very snug it fits very well. The adjustable straps around the ear are non adjustable but they fit over my ears good I had no problems with the fit.
The visor is a fixed design but it can be removed. But it is in the right spot so it is not your way it does the job.
These helmets come in 12 color options. It is fairly lightweight helmet and it is a MIPS helmet which is another good point to look at. Because myself I will not buy a helmet if it is MIPS.
CONCLUSION- like I said I bought this helmet about a year ago. And it has been a very durable and comfortable helmet that is affordable and it has exceeded what I thought it would be.
The GIRO FIXTURE HELMET has held up great so far I still wear it every time I ride. I would recommend this helmet for anyone wanting a good budget priced helmet. Dave
